Can not start Pixelmon without SQLite jar or database!! – Most likely an issue with java installations, check here: FIX for java issues.
Server and client won’t run at the same time – Same reason as the previous crash: Fix
Slot … is already occupied by … when adding … – Go read the install instructions again, “When upgrading from a previous version make sure you delete your pixelmon.cfg”. pixelmon.cfg can be found in .minecraft/config
What are the recipes?
The recipes are all listed over on our wiki. Recipes.
Why can’t I find the pokeball recipes?
We have deliberately kept the pokeball recipes secret except for the recipe for the pokeball. The idea was that giving away all the recipes got rid of some of the achievement and satisfaction people get by working them out for themselves. They are not hard to work out but it’s one of those things people can do for themselves.
How do I heal my pokemon?
There are 2 ways of reviving fainted pokemon currently (outside of the use of revives). By sleeping in a bed or by using the healer. Wool can be attained by shearing mareep.
Where can I find fossils?
Fossils generate under the ocean floor. Try looking in the 10 or 20 blocks below an ocean.Updated in 2.1.2. Fossil blocks now spawn in gravel patches between layers 20-50 in all biomes
Too many/few pokemon are spawning
Spawn rates can be adjusted in the pixelmon.cfg file found in your .minecraft/config directory
Which mods are compatible with this?
Nearly all mods are compatible with pixelmon. There are only a couple of exceptions that I know of. The major ones are NEI (which modifies the inventory in a way which we can’t work with) and the MCPatcher Colorizer mod (if you want to use mcpatcher you will have to disable the colorizer). Also, Optifine is currently incompatible as one of the features in the latest version of minecraft does not work with Optifine. The Optifine group have been made aware of this, and are hopefully working on a fix,
