I'm going to provide some context of the situation too to make it understandable.
This was reported to me by one of the Mods on by network.
- Players on one of my servers have been creating Pixelmon Auctions using the side-mod for $0 to $10,000.
- Players have discovered that they can bid insane amounts of money which they don't have to drive the price of the auction up causing them to start breaking rules on one of the servers. Players have mainly been bidding $40,000 to $999,000.
- The player who bid on the auction stays on the server the whole time during the auction.
- When the auction ends, the player who bid on the auction can't pay the the money bid so the Pixelmon stays with the creator of the auction.
- We are unable to see who's creating these bids to deal with the situation.
When I heard about this issue, I was confused as I was under the impression the side-mod had a feature which checks to see if the player could afford to bid the value before confirming the actual bid to the server.
