Pixelmon 4.3.1 and 5.0.1 have been released! This includes a few important fixes and a lot of minor fixes after the earthquakes that were 4.3.0 and 5.0.0.
The most important of these is perhaps the missing pieces of information for Gen 6 starters like their spawn locations and the Froakie line's inability to breed. Luckily we were quick to avoid rendering Froakie extinct. Using the Pokédex will no longer sometimes cause a crash, and catching Pokémon with a Wurmple in battle will no longer cause an entire server to crash, but you'll have to trust us when we say that the latter was not as bizarre and random as it sounds. (Really!) Wurmple can also now evolve, as can Lombre.
There have also been many Gen 6 battle/item mechanic updates, and many other fixes as per SomeBody's usual. As always, be sure to check out the changelog from the link below to see everything that was changed.
On another note, barring the discovery of huge, game-breaking issues, 4.3.1 is the final Pixelmon version we will release for Minecraft 1.8.9. This means that we will only be supporting Minecraft 1.10.2 moving forward. At some point (or in this day and age, "soon™"), we will begin the process of porting to Minecraft 1.11.
