#197190 this has always been a topic of curiosity for me if one or both of the Pokémon you're breeding are shiny shouldn't that up the chances of getting a shiny Pokémon in the egg even by a small amount?

I don't know its just always confused me

#197257 This was only a feature in Gen 2, and only because shininess was determined by IVs, which were partly inherited from the parents.
