I've tried searching for duplicate reports of this, but so far I haven't been able to find one that mentions this exactly. Hope I'm doing this right.

The server/world is new and generated with version 5.0.1

Only generation 1 & 2 have been enabled (ever) on the server.

However, the Haunted House (spawn block) still spawns Lampent and the trainers also use Pokemons from other generations. However the world spawns are fine.

I saw another bug report that mentioned traders tapping into disabled generations, but so far I have not met one that does that.

You can remove haunted towers from spawning in the external JSON files. You can also remove unwanted Pokémon from NPCs in these files. It is not viable to restrict them based on Generation automatically since they do not all have Pokémon from every Generation.

So it is a choice based on the incomplete roster of Pokémon to include them in these specific cases (Haunted House + Trainers)? That makes sense I guess.

It does not bother us as much, however I figured it would be considered a bug if the disabled generations were supposed to be removed from all game mechanics in the eyes of the team.

Pixelmon is a great piece of work and I look forward to seeing what the future brings.
