[7.0.5] Badge Case messing up inventory and bar. fix completed for upcoming version

Ticket description:
Whenever I add a badge to it, it becomes locked on the bar, even when moving it and using another item in the spot I once had the case, it will keep bringing up new cases. Furthermore, it seems other items become locked to the bar location as well, requiring a chest to move things around. Items moved around outside a chest completely bug and when opening a chest, they revert to the location they were last in when the chest was last opened.

Thanks for the report. I am unable to reproduce this issue here -- everything seems to be working normally. Do you have any specific steps to reproduce the issue? Are you running any other mods/plugins?

The game was lauched via the ATlauncher and in a single player BoP world. I had given myself a badge case unregistered right of the bat in creative and then gone about the game in single player. Went and took on the gym that holds the quake badge. Upon using the quake badge after earning it to add it to the case, badge turned into another case and the bug happened. I tried to register to the case in hopes that would fix it, but it kept bringing up new cases, even when using bread on the location the case and badge were used.

The exact steps I have taken to reproduce it
1: Add a case (Blue Case) to the 6th spot of hotbar
2: Add badge (Quake badge) to the 7th spot of hotbar
3: Use badge, then register the case, then use badge again
4: move case off bar into inventory, suddenly makes a 2nd case, attempts to use this case on any spot except 6 result in it just being swung
5: eat bread on 6th slot, the bug is now in effect

Yup, that worked! Took me a few tries (does not seem to do anything in Creative? unsure), but I was able to confirm it eventually. I've moved this to internal, and will get this ticket updated when we know more.

For now, re-joining the world and then moving the Case to a non-hotbar slot without using it seems to work around the issue. However, this does prevent use of the Case. Not ideal, but that seemed to work for me when I was testing it.
