I decided to make a Berry Farm on a Pixelmon server I play on for all of the 6 EV-Reducing berries (Pomeg, Kelpsy, Qualot, Grepa, Hondew, and Tamato) so after I constructed the separate rooms for each of the berries and gathered them, I planted them all and waited (after looking it up online they do take a little bit to grow). After a while, the Pomeg, Kelpsy and Qualots were fully grown, but on the other hand, the Grepa, Hondew and Tamato were still stuck in the second stage of growth (a green sapling) and they will not grow past that stage at all. I have sufficient lighting (the whole room is filled with torches at this point) and they are planted on fertilized land with water, so I'm not sure what else I can do on my end to fix this.

I have not tried growing other berries besides the EV ones so I'm not sure if this issue only applies to these berries or if it is a widespread problem.

Do they grow in direct sunlight? I know that we've had a few reports of this before, but they were closed due to that being a thing.

No, they do not require direct sunlight in order to grow. If anything, I have confirmation of this by the berries in question still growing but only to the second stage (as specified, the sapling stage) so they do have growth even without sunlight but it seems they are limited to the second stage.

My other berries are growing fine without sunlight so that is certainly not the issue here.
