I placed a pomeg berry down and I broke it with my axe immediately. The berry tree dropped 2 berries, meaning if you repeat this process you will have unlimited berries.

I tried to reproduce the bug you reported for around 20 minutes now and I can not reproduce it in any way:
I used 3 different berries (Pomeg, Qualot, Kelpsy) & both enchanted and unenchanted axes (vanilla types & pixelmon types). I tried both ways of placing & breaking the berry as well, off-hand placing + almost instant breaking & normal hand placing, switching to an axe & breaking it again (as the first method does not even work with pixelmon axes/tools).

Used pixelmon version: 8.1.2
Environment: Multiplayer & Singleplayer

If you are able to reproduce this bug in singleplayer, please create a new ticket & describe it more detailed there (How you did it exactly, what mod version you use, if you have any other mods installed et cetera ) & attach a video or pictures of you duplicating berries if possible!
