In a max raid, it is currently possible to remove multiple shields at once with certain multi-hit moves.

Urshifu-RS -> Surging strikes: 1 shield
Greninja -> water shuriken: Often removes 1, sometimes removes 2
Hitmontop -> triple kick: Can remove 3 shields
Skill link cloyster -> icicle spear: 1 shield
Shell armor cloister -> icicle spear: 1-4 shields

I think it may currently work by removing a shield each time it could miss and doesn't.

I have been able to partially replicate this issue - both triple kick and water shuriken are destroying multiple shield segments (in my testing, water shuriken consistently removed 2 segments and triple kick removed 3 if it landed at all). I found icicle spear to only break 1 segment regardless of the cloysters ability (I also used commands to teach greninja icicle spear and it still only broke 1 shield). Either way - I will mark this to be moved to internal - thank you for your report!

As an additional note, I believe that if you have a multi-hit move that reaches the shield hp in the first few hits, the remaining hits may remove multiple shields. Saw this with a pin missile doing 5 hits and removing 2 shields (all of them).

Retesting this in 8.4.2, all of the previously mentioned moves break only one shield, so this appears to be fixed. Thanks!
