Confirmed.
The same issue occurs with Dubwool and Wooloo as well - I'm willing to bet that this bug is a by-product of this one's fix. Right-clicking a Wooloo/Dubwool/Mareep in a ranch block while holding an item will not display their breeding status. This also means you cannot r-click them with a Silver Hour Glass.
