Hisuian Zoroark V. Salamence, Salamence faster despite stat difference. review later

Ticket description:
I was testing an H. Zoroark with the rules set to make all pokemon level 100 and was battling a friend's Salamence. I noticed that there seems to be a problem. During the battle, the Salamence was able to hit first with 90 EVs in speed and an IV of 31. At level 100, its stats should have been 258. My Zoroark, level 100 with 0 EVs and a 31 IV, should have had 281 speed. The Salamence had a shed shell and I had a king's rock. Despite the fact that I was faster, the Salamence hit first. I'd like this investigated so that it can be confirmed that there isn't a serious issue with the stats.

Hi there,

I ran the mentioned EV/IV spreads, and noticed that the mentioned 281 speed is only achieved if the H-Zoroark has a speed boosting nature (Hasty, Jolly, Naive, Timid) - without this, the Zoroark has 256 speed, leaving it slower than Salamence. If the Salamence has a speed boosting nature as well, it increases to 283 speed.

Nonetheless, I tested the mentioned scenario against an NPC trainer (testing both as the Zoroark trainer and the Salamence trainer). The Zoroark was faster in both of my tests.

Overall, I was unable to replicate this issue - would you be able to provide a battle log of this happening if you reproduce the issue again?

Of course. My Zoroark did have a Timid nature and I'll try to provide a log next time. Would you help me to understand how I might go about getting the log?

Hi again, and apologies for the late response!

You can create a battle log by using the command /battlelog whilst you are still in the battle (or on a server where you don't have permission, a staff member can run it with your character as the target). The generated log will go to your minecraft directory (.minecraft folder, or launcher equivalent) -> logs -> battle (this will be in the server files if performed on a server).

If you could copy the contents of this log to a site like pastebin and link this post, then I can have a further look at it.

It would be difficult for me to get a battle log at this time. Should there be an opportunity in the future, I will definitely take care to. But I can't even use H. Zoroark half the time without the game crashing from a rendering error.

Issue 19431 seems to cover this crash issue, but more information is needed to reproduce the crash. If it's still occurring in 9.1.2, then we need further data to find the cause and fix.

If the crashing has stopped, have you had any luck in reproducing this?
