Pixelmon Mod - Bug tracker

9.1.0 (With BYG 1.3.6) fix completed for upcoming version

Ticket description:
Hello,

Last night a user on my server reported a crashing issue. The crash would happen anytime that user attempted to log back in or anyone entered their relative area. I was able to confirm this myself and got stuck in a bit of a login loop doing so.

After looking through crash logs (See most recent crash attached) it appears to be something related to a Bee Nest and a function to replace entities (I assume something like replacing bees with Combees or something). I was able to remove the beehive by spamming the setblock command in the server console as I logged in and loaded the area. I haven't seen any crashes since, though it has only been a few minutes of wandering around.

Please let me know if any additional information is needed. I've included the crash log and server host information such as host OS, java version, forge version, installed mods, datapacks, and the startup script.

Server Information:
Arch Linux LTS (5.15.85-1-lts)
Java 11.0.12-open
Forge 36.2.34

Mods:
Pixelmon-1.16.5-9.1.0-universal
byg-1.3.6

Datapacks:
pixelmon_breeding_30min_v1.1.1 (Custom datapack to reduce breeding time for a small server)
pixelmon_custom_shopkeeper_v1.0.0 (Custom datapack to add a mending book vendor)

Crash Log: https://pastebin.com/cUaPSaUK
Startup Script: https://pastebin.com/r5s13VaR

If necessary I can upload the datapacks. The only files they touched are:
/data/pixelmon/daycare/*.json
/data/pixelmon/config/shopitems.json
/data/pixelmon/npcs/shopkeepers/customer3_en_us.json

Thank you,
-Halornek

Looks like this was previously reported as "Fixed as of 9.0.6" in this ticket:

tracker.php?p=2&t=18641

After a bit more research, may have been related to the java version (11.0.12-open) that I was running. Rolled back to 8.0.302-open and everything seems fine for now. I honestly can't remember why I was running Java 11 in the first place.

Had another crash. May not be related to Java version after all.

Greetings,

Are you still experiencing this on 9.1.2?

Unsure how it happened. Was taking candies out of creative, then crashed. When I try to load back into the world, it kicks me out with "Server closed" and brings me to the multiplayer menu, which is odd since I'm on an SP world. Wanted to add my crash too, but I can't reproduce it reliably but it happened on 9.1.3

Apologies, seems I somehow missed the original response from Decent60.

I've had the server offline since I basically would have to go in and remove the bugged beehives every other day, even with 9.1.2. I've updated to 9.1.3 and started exploring myself on the same work and have not had any crashes since, including running into a couple of naturally spawned beehives. I will keep testing and see if I can replicate the crash in both 9.1.2 and 9.1.3.

Thank you,
-Halornek
