he does that because he isn't done with it, once the model is "perfect" and gets textured they fuse the seems, they do this so they dont waste their time if they have to fix stuff

Nova fix his hands the palms and the wrists, they aren't even suppose to be there gulpin just have nubs for fingers and thats about it make it look more like swalots just smaller
