That is fine but I do not see what you've stated in the server forum rules anywhere, care to clarify where these rules are? As going by http://forum.pixelmonmod.com/viewtopic.php?f=125&t=2828 it doesn't say anything about what you've posted and the updates are useful information posts on things that have been added to the server etc.

There are multiple rules that can be applied, like this one
1. Don't spam to boost your posts to become Beta Tester/Staff, etc.
Spamming the forum with updates is an example,
4. Don't make more than one post in a row. There is a Bump feature.
Some people make general updates to bump their server up higher on the list,
This is in the red box, and it also can be applied
Don't make more than one post about the same server, players will join so don't advertise it on a lot of posts.
Because you are posting about your server, with a fancy little "Updated to 1.7" post.
Like I said, you are not exactly in trouble, I caught you before you got out of hand like some people, so just try to keep the updates to the main post, k?
