About PokeMC:
Our server is based around the Pixelmon Mod: which is Pokemon in Minecraft. We have a hub which leads to two different servers, and also shows the ones we have planned.

Kanto Region Server

Kanto spawn is based on the Pokemon Red/Blue Kanto Region and the gameplay is created to give you a Pokemon experience as close to the original Pokemon games as possible but with a Minecraft twist! The world is 20,000 x 20,000 and spawn itself is 5000 x 3000, which contains 10 towns/cities. It contains player homes, market places, working gyms, a casino and plenty more stuff to keep you entertained. Every player starts off in Pallet Town and is given $3,000 PokeCoins and a Trainer Beginner Kit to help you begin your journey. Explore spawn to uncover hidden puzzles and prizes, you can also find “Found Item!” signs scattered all around spawn. You can rent a home or market in most towns/cities and enjoy all the features spawn provides, or if you prefer, you can use the warp to get out of spawn and create your own home/town and be able to protect it against griefing.

Planet Pixelmon Server

Planet Pixelmon is not specifically based on any Pokemon game, more rather it is a life-size recreation of earth which brings to life playing pokemon and creating a town you love or live in! The world is 16,000 x 32,000 and spawn itself is around 500 x 500 which contains market places, stores, casino, player homes, and gyms are planned to be implemented soon too. Every player starts off in Spawn Town and is given $3,000 PokeCoins and a Trainer Beginner Kit to help you begin your journey. Exploring spawn will uncover hidden secrets and a multitude of strong pokemon, their levels vary from lvl5 to lvl95 depending on the area you are in. Also extremely rare pokemon which do not spawn naturally (Such as Porygon) have a small chance to appear! You can rent a home or market inside spawn and enjoy all the features spawn provides; Or if you prefer, you can use the warp to get out of spawn and create your own home/town and be able to protect it against griefing.

Pokemon was my childhood, and minecraft is what i play now, so bringing the 2 together on a server with great staff, active owners, and friendly players is the best thing i could ever hope for. the server was recently updated and has many new features that players have asked for, including casinos, wonder trade, and the new kanto map, which is huge and full of helpful hints and fun little jokes. I am so glad i play on this server it has changed my life for the better.

- 21 Oct 2014 19:40 #139174 I started this server sometime last February and It was My FIRST multiplayer server i ever have been on and to this day is the only one i ever play because The Community Is wonderful and funny, Its Rarely ever dull as there is always events and every update and then an apocalypse to let us go loose XD. They have so much to offer, an actual economy, playershops, Gyms, A vote store , etc. But The people in game and on Their Teamspeack are what have truly made me stay put here and I'm glad i did See you in game!

Pokemc is the greates pixelmon server i have ever played on. The events held every weekend are amazing and enjoyable if you havent already you should come check it out!

What's not to like about it? From the custom NPC's with dialogue, each line taken straight from the actual Pokemon Game, to the Build Team's realization of the Kanto map, a fully custom map which has taken months of hard work to build!

I have been playing PokeMC for over 6 months and believe me when I say, PokeMC is the server to join! Pokemon nostalgia + Minecraft building = Hours of fun!

The community is friendly and everyone is helpful! The beginner kit that you get from Prof. Oak, right at spawn, is just what a new player needs to get out in to the new World and explore. Gotta catch them all!

- 21 Oct 2014 20:20 #139183 I've been playing on the server since April, and I have to say it's one of the friendliest minecraft servers that I've ever been part of. People are always willing to help, provide information, or help to sort out any problems that you might have.

As far as Pixelmon status goes, we've just updated to 1.7. The map looks amazing, and I know it took quite a bit of hard work to build. There are custom nps and designs that almost exactly mirror the games. I have a little nerdgasm anytime that I walk through and just remember my childhood of playing the games.

The one and only thing that I could ask for from the server is more feedback from the owner/moderation team. I feel bad always asking if something is being worked on or if x is fixed yet.

- 21 Oct 2014 21:32 #139196 PokeMC is the first and only pixelmon server I will ever go on. Right from when I first logged in it had the sense of community you couldn't find on just any old server. If you ever needed help with anything, had a problem, or even just a question, someone would always step up to help you. Especially the staff members, who do their best to keep order and a family friendly atmosphere. The custom map is wonderful as well and very well detailed. You can never run out of new places to explore or things to do, between the safari, the gyms, the battles to be had, and the server run events, there is never an end to the fun. I have played on PokeMC for over 4 months now and I have loved it as I have never loved a minecraft server before.

- 21 Oct 2014 23:58 #139209 I've been playing on the PokeMC servers since late June/early July, and I've enjoyed every minute that I've been on-line. The staff here are friendly, helpful and very easy to get along with.

If you have played any of these Pokemon games: Red/Blue/Yellow/FireRed/LeafGreen, then you will feel right at home exploring the spawn region of the new Kanto map. I get nostalgic when I see something that I haven't seen for a considerable time, and I almost boot up my DS just to check that I'm not seeing things.

I would recommend the PokeMC servers to anyone seeking a nostalgic experience with a great, interactive community.
