Forum rules:

Vanguard is a simple, work in progress server. The server is playable, although it will upgraded with a lot more features in the future! You spawn in a relatively simple and small spawn where you can find what you need. Being a very new server, it may be a few days until the gyms are fully open, which give you plenty of time to gather the pokemon you need and attack the gyms at full power!
