#146294 When I gained access to a £2000 3D printer this was inevitable...

Kyogre

Anyway this is the Kyogre that is in game. This is one of the frames in the new animation that I have done for it. It was printed with the extruder (where the plastic comes from) set to a size of 0.1mm in diameter in black PVC. Its 20cm wide (arm fin width) 16.5cm long and 4cm tall. The total print time was 21hrs 11mins. Then I spent a further 4-5hrs removing the supports and sanding and then I spray painted it black again due to the scuffing.

During printing. All that isn't honey comb is supports that had to be removed.

These images are after the supports were removed and sanding but before the spray paint. I put it back in the printer for dramatic effect (it has cool lights)

Lugia

After that I printed a frame in Lugia's animation that we use in game. This time with blue plastic at 0.2mm. This took 8 hours to print, and about 1-2hrs of support removing and sanding. It is similar dimensions as the Kyogre.

This is some images when printing

This is what it looked like when removed from the printer
the supports under its head and tail were removed but I have no images of after that process.
