Umm what does shuck mean and could I get some clear answers that would be great thanks?

The ground shakes and the doors start to close.

*Stumbles as the ground shakes* Is this normal?

I frantically run to the closing door.

Wait! Who knows why they're shutting those doors they might be keeping us in but what if they're keeping something out!

I sprint towards it anyways.
"I'd suggest some of you follow me and the rest stay here because when I come back you shucks have better found something out!"
I fix my newsboy hat as I run, ready to find out where we are. And why we know everything but nothing. Why we are teenagers in some prison. And praying to God someone will come with me.

Its gonna be a loooong night I say as I lie down and use my jacket as a blanket...
