my idea is a Achievements badges. It is a small suggestion to implement, more Visual.
why?:
more experience single or multiplayer with the badges (especially in server).
Giving an achievement to get the badge in gym against player, npc, etc ...

altough :) most off the servers have the Achievement stuff disabled

It could be nice to have it in a SP server tough for those who like to do Lets Play's or so
