The pack_format in the pack.mcmeta is 1, which I'm pretty sure is the only configuration, and it is the one used for 1.8, so that shouldn't be the problem?

1.9+ uses pack_format 2, but if you're on 1.8.x that shouldn't be a problem.

Did it work before? If so, what did you change since then - the problem should be in those files...

Hasn't worked before, this was the first time I try. And I made like the smallest change possible in the textures.

Any ideas? ._.
