If you don't want to place a block you can use Pixelmon Extras' /pc command instead.

Me and my server team all thought the same thing that the pc picking up and placing was a good thing but we have 2 worlds: 1 survival 1 adventure. now you cant pick up and place a pc in adventure so we thought, what the hell and made it :D
