I propose that Wyrdeer temporarily become a flying mount in December.
A common part of the story of Santa Claus is that he rides a sleigh pulled by flying reindeer. As Christmas is celebrated in December, it would be cool if Wyrdeer, a deer Pokemon that is partially based on a reindeer, temporarily changes from land mount to flying mount in this month. As the flying reindeer pulling Santa's sleigh are often portrayed as running on air, Wyrdeer would use its walking animation when flying.
As a bonus, Wyrdeer is a Psychic-type Pokemon capable of learning Confusion and Psychic, both moves that are often shown in the anime as the user levitating the target. Wyrdeer has the resources available to lift itself off the ground.
Alternatively, if my red-nosed Wyrdeer suggestion gets approved, then maybe that red-nosed form of Wyrdeer would be a flying mount while regular Wyrdeer remains a land mount.
Overall, flying mount Wyrdeer around December would be a fun easter egg.
