I would like there to be an option for the Pokemon that have the ability to fly, and that is having a option in the external moves section that shifts those Pokemon into flight mode where all the player has to do is look in a certain direction for the Pokemon to fly up and move in that direction. I think this would be a reasonable suggestion since the current way of flying is tapping the spacebar at certain moments to just to fly in one direction. This is one of those ideas that wouldn't hurt for the mod to change this early on before we get Gen 9 Pokemon in the mod.

- 02 Nov 2022 05:18 #212767 Could maybe do something based on Elytra flight, where you mainly glide, but can give yourself a speed boost by "flapping" with the space bar, similar to using a firework rocket. The Pokémon's stats could then affect the duration of that boost (Atk -> physical strength), how quick the cooldown is on them (Spd -> how fast it can flap), and how many stacks you can have ready at a time (HP -> stamina reserves).

It could be a bit weird with Pokémon that rather "hover" than actually aerodynamically flying though, like Metagross.
