Might be possible if we have a number of tiling textures for spots and pick ~2 for each Spinda, with a random X/Y offset each. And the face/ear pattern would then be another layer on top.

That will look ugly at the model's seams though. Also needs a bunch of extra files, and no idea if/how that would affect performance.
