- 08 Mar 2014 14:45 #115643 I am in a jungle/river biome. They seem to be spawning on grass. I do not quite know all of the spawning AI, so I have a few questions:

1 - What kind of blocks do pokemon spawn on
2 - What kind of blocks do pokemon not spawn on
3 - What is the range pokemon spawn (up to 64 blocks away? or do they spawn by chucks?)
4 - Is there a min range that pokemon wont spawn?
5 - Does block and biome matter (I know biome matter)? For example, does grass block only spawn grass pokemon in the jungle? Does rock block spawn rock pokemon in a jungle? Does a sand block in a jungle spawn different than a grass block?

2. They dont spawn on trees for sure.

5. Yes biomes matter but not blocks .
