Code: Select allConnection Lost

A fatal error has occured, this connection is terminated

If others are getting this I will submit it as a bug to cauldron and pixelmon.

#136678 The version of both Pixelmon and Cauldron would be helpful.
I'd assume you are 3.2.* and Forge 1.7.10 considering you received the error "A fatal error has occurred, this connection is terminated" which I haven't seen until 3.2.
What are you doing during this kick? I know when battling, specific moves cause this error and also editing a trainers model in 3.2.6 causes the error.

This has happened in all versions of cauldron that I have tried in 1.7.10 using pixelmon versions 3.2.3 and 3.2.6. Detailed list of cauldron versions used are:

Code: Select allcauldron-1.7.10-1.1207.01.187-server.jar
cauldron-1.7.10-1.1199.01.168-server.jar
cauldron-1.7.10-1.1199.01.149-server.jar
cauldron-1.7.10-1.1187.03.119-server.jar

using java versions

Code: Select alljava version "1.8.0_11"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_11-b12)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.11-b03, mixed mode)

and

Code: Select alljava version "1.7.0_65"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_65-b17)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.65-b04, mixed mode)

The server itself does not crash. Sorry didn't bother with full info as I have not fully tested wanted to find out if others were experiencing it first. You may however note that the server shares files with another server to inherit the same files for pokemon, player data etc. via the use of both a sync script that I made and soft links.

Let me know what else you want

I have not figured out any specific actions yet. This was just meant to be a precursor to more in-depth investigations of my own.

#136682 Stealth Rock made this occur.
Trainer model editing made this occur.

I have yet to come across any other causes.

Neither of those are required. It also seems to happen in bulk each time. Almost every time it is more then one person and it happens to both players exactly the same moment.

#136685 Well I assume that someone has brought this error to your attention, have they not given you more information as to what they are doing during the time of this kick? Is it the same people getting booted every time, or random players?

It is random. Players brought it to my attention when we first updated to 3.2.3 however I was sceptical. It has changed in frequency however today I was just standing at spawn answering questions and greeting new people and experienced it for myself for the first time.
