As the title says, when I'm in a battle and attempting to catch a Pokemon if it fails the Pokemon always faints. Very confused by this since it doesn't say that I used an attack or that they did. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have the same issue, made a ticket about it. Although in my case the foe doesn't always faint.

Could be that, when the Pokémon pops out of the ball, it spawns in a wall and dies of suffocation.
Had that happen a couple of times myself.

I don't think it is because it doesn't matter if i try and catch them at full health or at 1 health, low level or higher level. Oh and i should probably add that they don't faint outside of combat, if i throw a pokeball at them and they break out they just carry on with whatever they were doing.
