These IDs can be used for in-game commands that deal with items. The internal Java code uses different things.

You'll have to find those yourself (F3 + h). Forge dynamically assigns number IDs so they're different for everyone.

Just while you're playing Minecraft. Items will then show their number IDs when hovering over them.
