#144188 Im gonna be completely honest with everyone and start by saying I have no idea how to make models or animate them but I'm trying to learn so if anyone has any good places to learn or any good websites to check out tell me....
Now on to the main subject of why I'm posting this...
So in my spare time I made a list of the pokemon that still aren't in the pixelmon mod (I don't know if anyone has already done this) and I finished making the list for johto and hoenn and I'm in the middle of making it for the other regions just I was wondering if it would be helpful if I posted that list somewhere... Also, as soon as I learn how to make the pokemon and animate them I'm gonna start doing that for all the ones that haven't been made... If this won't help at all it's fine just let me know but I have a list of pokemon that need to be made from the second and third regions of johto and hoenn and I'm working on the other regions
Thanks and sorry if this was pointless because stuff is already being done and it won't help,
LevineMa

#144192 I suggest using blender, since I see it as an easier program than maya.

Video for blender low poly tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h5gGkHMBLIU
Video for blender UV texturing tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obB9T3jXlak
(I suggest using paint.net or photoshop and not paint as the person in the UV texturing tutorial uses)

If you need help, I can try and help you.

It really depends on what you learn first.
Blender's controls and UI are so weird that once you learn them Maya just looks impracticable to you and vice versa (Though I like Maya's UI a little.. Haha, can't wait for the Blender Revision)
But I prefer Blender for the community involvement third, party plugins, and open source wooo
