#170940 When I use a shaderpack like Sildurs Vibrant shaders extreme, my chunks are loading extremely slow and delayed.
So I'm walking in void pretty much and it takes a while for the chunks to load.

I'm using the pixpack extreme, Forge 11.15.1.1722, Optifine 1.8.9_HD_U_H3
Same problem also on minecraft that is not running off the pixelmon launcher.

my performance settings:

Smooth FPS: Off
Smooth World: On
Fast Render: Off
Fast Math: Off
Chunk Updates: 5
Dynamic Updates: ON
Lazy Chunk Loading: Off
My Render Distance is set to 24
Changing these doesn't do much.

I also allocated 8GB of memory for Java.
I doubt that my Rig is too slow to handle this because I'm not having these issues with vanilla minecraft.

CPU: i7-3770K
GPU: GeForce GTX 980 TI
RAM: 16GB DDR3
OS: Windows 10 64 bit

#170972 That is an optifine issue rather than a pixelmon one. Optifine can be really finicky with it's options. I'd suggest posting on their forums if they have them
