#185182 Not sure if there's a post or any section of the forums where I can find information like this, but I have recently began running a Pixelmon server and have run into the issue of lag when hitting a player count of 40-60 players. When we hit 64 the server entirely just crashed and shut down.

So my question would be do you have any suggestions for reducing lag and/or improving server efficiency.

I've tried a couple things, but honestly don't have any idea what else to do, I've owned servers in the past, however none quite so server intensive as a Pixelmon Server.

Things I've tried so far:
- Lowering Pixelmon spawn rates (Although lowering any further would cause Pixelmon to not spawn enough)
- Lowering view distance

Dedicated Server Specs:
Intel i7-4790k
32 GB DDR3 1333MHz
2 x240GB SSD

Honestly, I'm not sure if I'm even paying for the correct server for a Minecraft Server setup although I would assume in a Vanilla/Spigot environment this server could handle a few hundred players easily.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! <3
