I just upgraded to the new Pixelmon Beta Launcher and all I see are the pixpacks, I don't see the option to create a new profile at all and I have logged into my minecraft account. All I see is a blue background where the new profile button should be, also when I first login into the launcher I see the "play" button and then it disappears so I can't click on it.

I had the same issue. What you can do is choose install on one of the pixpacks then the options appeared. You can create the profile you want then delete the pixpack one.
