Do pixelmon continue to breed when their chunk is unloaded?

Do pixelmon continue to breed when their chunk is unloaded?

I just want to know if I can go mining or do something else while they breed, or if I have to AFK near my base for the entire 30 minutes to an hour every time. I want to know if they will produce an egg while im not near by base.

Especially on servers please, because thats where I play. The wiki is no help for this question, and people on the server are reporting conflicting things.
