I was able to update my pixelmon world to the new version, but is there also a way to transfer the pixelmons that I've captured so that they show up in the new version? I haven't found an updated answer to this question. Thank you!

You should be able to largely transfer your old Pokémon by moving the .pc and .comp files from the world's old "pokemon" folder to "data/pokemon/".
