Today i tried to setup a simple multiplayer server for my friends and me but we encountered multiple troubles. First of all our go-to provider Aternos refused to update the (official) modpack and even warned about Pixelmon being removed from their support list of modpacks. After that we tried pebblehost, which refused to install a version of the pack later than 9.1.7. Has anyone got an idea why it suddenly got so hard to setup a simple server? We want to avoid Nodcraft since it's so damn expensive.

Your best bet would be to contact those hosts' support. On Pixelmon's end everything in that regard works the same as always. There's not really anything we could do about that.
