Does pidgey spawns? and where?

Yes, mostly forests I think but plains and snow as well

Can't see any pidgeys or spearows both in single and multiplayer, but ppl on the same server capture those pokemon without any troubles.

I've only seen Pidgeotto, not a single Pidgey. :/

I see pidgeys and pidgeottos all the time. It's very weird you can't find any...

I've seen a few groups of them.

i've never seen one pidgey or pidgeoto in singleplayer

and the default mobs disappeared

the default mobs are removed by pixelmon

Is it possible that a world's seed modifies what Pokemon spawn and/or how many of them appear? I ask this because I think I've only witnessed one Pidgey on my current world and haven't seen one since. I've been all over, searching every biome for them and haven't seen a single one other than the first.
