reminds me of the cloyster they had on Red/Blue <3 looks very well done

I'd recommend going with purple since it's the color Gamefreak has been using lately and we almost always use the latest colors for the pokemon. Plus, the black makes the core look like a Gastly ;P

my sandile evolved into a weedle! yay! any way, which do you prefer pokenerd, old gen black? or new gen purple? do you think the face is good?

ok, that's one vote for purple, but I'd like to make a vote, so people get there decisions taken into concept, because I always thought black cloyster looked better than bruised cloyster, and jurrorath, I would be adding a significant sheen to it to make it look like a marble or pearl

face looks good tho the color is hard to tell in certain lighting. its actually a very dark purple (what ever the fancy name to it is)

meh, purple or black doesnt matter, they do that to avoid racial fewds

I personally say go with very dark purple, that seems the best medium between the two options, and would probably look much better anyway.
