#244071 Let me explain, when you're in end-game you feel like catching legendary pokemons. The problem? You're in a biome with the correct legendary spawn requirements (conditions, etc.) and you're AFK waiting for 4h for a legendary spawn warning to appear (spoiler: it almost never happens), the result? the player quits the mod.

One solution is that after X amount of time AFK, the game detects that you're in "hunting legendaries" mode and gives a slight boost to the probability of legendaries spawning, I love pixelmon and I've played it many times and I always quit for the same reason: in the end-game I wait hours and hours and hours in a biome for a legendary to appear and none ever do, and I have no doubt that this has happened to many players. I hope you take into account my suggestion of "hunting legendaries mode" or make a very difficult item to craft that increases the probability of legendaries spawning for a while.

thanks for everything

#244073 This feels backwards. It would encourage AFKing instead of actually playing.

Our intention with legendaries has always been to eventually add individual mechanics for each of them and pivot away from random spawns. Creating those mechanics takes time and manpower however, which core features/mechanics get priority for - so sadly progress hasn't been great on that...

#244074 I understand that this idea might make people think that they are more AFK than playing the mod, but I doubt that people are AFK from the beginning basically because with the pokeballs and pokemon at the beginning it is impossible to capture a legendary, normally it is only possible having a pokemon team with enough level to face the legendaries and a good amount of pokeballs that can only be obtained in the end-game, so people would play as they normally are (without being afk) until reaching the end-game where they could use the suggestion I said. I don't see anything wrong with my idea
