[center]It was a marvel. an old man stood there dazed at the sight before him.
It was a bird but it was definitely not a normal one.
the bird had mesmerizing feathers, they were like flowing crystal-clear water.
it's eyes were like shining light. the bird flew in a slow circle above the old man.
suddenly the bird darted off in a flash, away from the old man's cottage.
hypnotised by the beauty the old man ran off after the bird with surprising strength.
faster and faster the bird flew. and faster still did the old man run.
he ran for many days feeling no need for food or water.
and as he ran the old man became stronger, and younger.
one day, the bird stopped.he had roosted upon a branch of a golden tree.
on the tree there were many birds like it. and on it's highest branches was one large shining fruit.
the now young man then heard whispers in his thoughts.
Eat the fruit...Eat the fruit. the voice chanted
and then you will rule the skies...
every height will be yours...
you will be able to explore every corner of the land and sky...
the man entranced by their words,
he climbed the tree for which he could do as an elder.
when he reached the highest branch he took the fruit in his hands.
he had taken a bite of the fruit.
the fruit was the greatest he ever tasted.
as soon as he swallowed the man had grown large powerful wings.
this was the first Avius to ever come into existence.[/center]

[center]Hello again welcome to my latest Roleplay.
First i'll explain a bit of lore about the roleplay.
(please read all that follows as it is important and if you don't you will make me want to punch your face!)
First off this Roleplay Does take place in the same world as my other roleplay grand legends.
you will Not use the same character that you have in Grand Legends, they are part of a different plot that takes place in a different part of the world.
The race of people who will be used in this roleplay are called Aviuses. a mystic race of bird people.
basically the conflict is between the five different clans of Avus. ( Avus is the name of the kingdom for which this roleplay is based in.)
God's Hand
This clan is at the center of the region and also the first clan to exist in Avus
They are known to be the most technologically advanced of the clans.
the technology of this clan allows them to harness the energy of a special mineral called HaloRock.
the mineral was first used as a light source. but as the years progressed the gems were used to power
machinery and also used to concentrate into a central point to create blades or projectiles from a rod.
(by the way these minerals are important.)
PhoenixHall
This clan is well known for it's skill in combat. and was the second to be established in Avus.
before they broke away from god's hand they created the greatest weapons in Avus.
They are known to harness flarestone and lava for weapons and armor.
Flarestone is a very volatile mineral that once was used to create fires because they sparked well.
when used in armor warriors wear protective clothing underneath because of the intense heat it emits.
WyvernCove
This clan is one of the most frustrating to face in combat.
they are skilled archers and it is rare if they miss.
Frostgem, the mineral of FrostCove, is deadly if not handled correctly.
if the mineral is dropped it bursts into shards that freeze what they come into contact with.
this clan makes arrow tips out of this material and usually aim for the wings of flying enemies.
rendering them unable to fly.
ThunderPerch
another advanced clan as far as technology goes,
they use traps that revolves a lot around electricity.
sparkstone is a great source of electricity and is used to power machines.
and also use to electrify their weapon blades.
they don't usually wear metal armor when in combat, for obvious reasons.
RavenSpire
This clan started out as more of a rebellion than actual clan.
the rebellion started before Dragonhall was formed but was not recognized as an official clan until after thunderperch was formed.
this clan uses dark obsidian in their weapons and armor. they are well trained in combat
they prefer using pure combat than relying on the special properties of a mineral.
(besides the hardness of obsidian of course.)
Rules
1.all of the rules specified in the official forum rules page are to be obeyed here. (Duh.)
2.Like i said in grand legends being cut or injured is unavoidable. but don't go overboard.
3. you know my rule about fighting another person-created character, cheats never beats.(meaning if you 'cheat' in combat the person you're fighting get rights to kill your character and your kicked from the roleplay.)
4.don't be over dramatic over small things (Ex.character stubs toe, you yell and scream in agony and you fall to the floor and die.)
5.twin rule, don't be under dramatic either(Ex. Character sacrfices him/her self to save the life of millions. another character goes "cool story bro, now go make me a samich".)
6.in this roleplay you will become best friends with the other role-players, meaning no fighting.(besides actual combat in the roleplay itself obviously.)
7.if any special roles come up that i'm too lazy to control myself i will mention it in the post and people may pm me for the character.
8.Don't overpower your character when you first join the roleplay.
9.Enjoy!
