Town.png

A town is a village with Pixelmon NPCs inhabiting it. Most towns also contain a Pokémon Center and a Poké Mart.

NPCs

The villagers normally found in villages are replaced with chatting NPCs who have dialogue when interacted with. Like villagers, these chatting NPCs can pick up and replant seeds, carrots, and potatoes. However, chatting NPCs cannot be traded with.

Occasionally, NPC Trainers also spawn in towns. They can be any type of NPC Trainer, regardless of the biome that the town is in.

Buildings

Most towns have a small Pokémon Center within. This Pokémon Center is smaller than ones that spawn outside towns; it only has a healer and doesn't have a PC or a trade machine. However, Pokémon Centers inside towns have doctors that use healers faster than a player is able to.

A town also usually has a Poké Mart, and is the only place where Poké Marts spawn naturally. Each Poké Mart contains two shopkeepers who sell various Pixelmon-related items in exchange for PokéDollars.

Gyms can spawn near (but not inside) towns.

All other structures (houses, farms) within a town are unchanged from vanilla Minecraft.

Config settings

  • "increaseVillageSpawnRate": If enabled, towns will spawn more often than they would in vanilla Minecraft.
  • "replaceMCVillagers": If disabled, villagers will spawn in towns instead of chatting NPCs.
  • "spawnPokemarts": If disabled, Poké Marts will not spawn in any newly generated towns.
  • "spawnStructures": If disabled, all structures (including Pokémon Centers and Poké Marts not spawn.
