Pixelmon Discord

The Pixelmon Discord is a Discord server for Pixelmon discussion. It can be accessed using this link. Many of the Pixelmon team members also frequent this server, allowing discussion directly with them.

Before chatting in the Pixelmon Discord server, it is advised to read the rules of the server in the #rules channel. Failure to do so may result in being banned from the Pixelmon Discord, or, in extreme cases, being reported to the Discord crew.

This channel lists the rules of the Pixelmon Discord server. These rules are also listed below.

Pixelmon Discord rules

1. If you have any questions, read the FAQ first. If you want to talk in a channel, read its topic (at the top).
2. Keep all channels child-friendly. No cussing, no explicit or illegal links, no insulting behavior. This goes for usernames and emojis, too.
3. Adding to the above, keep politics out of here. This isn't the place for discussion on religion, ethnicity, gender, console wars, etcetera.
4. Please refrain from flaming on Discord servers, Minecraft servers, platforms or mods.
5. No advertising, except for in #servers when relevant. This includes recruitment to your Discord server or other projects.
6. #servers is for Pixelmon ads only, once every day. Include a valid website and IP (one of each). You're also allowed one Discord link.
7. If you are unsure about something, ask a community helper. Staff has the final say in matters. Don't pester non-helper devs/admins.
8. Do not spam, and do not tag groups. This includes trying to tag the whole server; just don't.
9. If you do not agree with our Terms of Service (linked above), please leave. Failure to respect them will most likely result in a ban.
10. Do not offer downloads to Pixelmon products. See below.

This channel is used by the Pixelmon team to post major Pixelmon announcements, such as new releases of Pixelmon becoming available or spoilers of a new update.

#servers

This channel is used by server owners to advertise their Pixelmon servers. Messages that do not follow the #rules will be removed without warning.

#server-support

This channel can be used by server owners to ask questions related to server management and maintenance. Recruitment is not allowed.

#general-support

This channel is for reporting bugs or asking for help.

#server-support

This channel is for reporting errors of servers or asking help for servers.

#spawner-support

This channel is for asking help with pokémon spawning and asking for help like in what biome does X pokémon spawn in.

#coding-support

This channel is asking for help for coding, but not for asking for basics.

#log-upload

This channel is for posting crash reports you have, and then wait for help. A regular user can't see this channel.

#general

This channel is for general discussion of Pixelmon that does not fit in any of the other channels. Off-topic discussion, including Pokémon discussion that is unrelated to Pixelmon, does not belong here; #public-offtopic should be used for these messages.

This channel is for non-Pixelmon discussion.

#competitive

This channel is for discussion of competitive Pokémon battling within Pixelmon.

#wiki

This channel is for talking about the wiki.

#wiki-feed

In this channel Pixelbot posts every change made in the wiki.

#isi-feed

This channel is used by Pixelmon administrator Isi to post about assorted topics. Mostly memes. Sometimes birthdays.

This channel is for giveaways only.

Voice channels

Public 1

This channel is for general discussion of any topic, not necessarily related to Pixelmon.

AFK

This channel is used to show that a user is AFK, and is generally used when somebody has to leave in the middle of a voice chat. Users are muted while they are in this channel.

Roles

Certain users on the Pixelmon Discord have special roles, indicated by the colors of their names when posting messages and on the member list sidebar.

Administrators

Administrators are the leaders of Pixelmon development. Each administrator is in charge of different aspects of Pixelmon.

Developers

Developers are involved in programming for Pixelmon, including the main Pixelmon mod and its sidemods. A few users with developer roles do not directly develop for Pixelmon, but are active in related Minecraft development roles, such as Sponge development, plugin development, or content hosting.

Community Helpers

Community Helpers are individuals who help with Pixelmon in ways other than programming, including asset development (modelling, texturing, animation, voice acting, structure building), Pixelmon forum moderation, or Pixelmon Discord moderation.
