Final Gambit is a damage-dealing Fighting-type move that faints the user. In return, the opponent takes damage equal to the amount of HP the user lost. If Final Gambit fails to hit the opponent due to missing, the opponent being a Ghost-type, or Protect/Detect, Final Gambit will not faint the user.
