A Destiny Knot is a held item. If the holder of the Destiny Knot is afflicted with the infatuated status by an opponent, the opponent will also become infatuated. Unlike in the Pokémon games, there is a possibility that the inherited IVs will overlap (e.g., the mother's HP IV and the father's HP IV), occasionally causing fewer than five IVs to be inherited.
