An Eject Button is a held item that causes the holder to switch out if it takes direct damage. It is consumed once this happens. The holder's Trainer is able to choose which Pokémon to send out next. An Eject Button has no effect if the there are no other Pokémon to switch into. It can be obtained as a tier 2 special drop.
Trivia
Before Reforged, this item had the following recipe. It was removed due to many held items being far too easy to make.
