Dynamax is a mechanic that allows Pokémon to grow giant. Once the Pokémon is dynamaxed it'll be able to use Max Moves, which are powerful damaging moves with secondary effects. Every Status move becomes Max Guard when dynamaxed.
List of Max Moves

Flying | Max Airstream | Increases the Speed of the user and its allies by one stage |
Poison | Max Ooze | Increases the Special Attack of the user and its allies by one stage |
Ground | Max Quake | Increases the Special Defense of the user and its allies by one stage |
Rock | Max Rockfall | Creates a sandstorm for five turns. |
Bug | Max Flutterby | Decreases the Special Attack of the target and its allies by one stage |
Ghost | Max Phantasm | Decreases the Defense of the target and its allies by one stage |
Steel | Max Steelspike | Increases the Defense of the user and its allies by one stage |
Fire | Max Flare | Creates harsh sunlight for five turns. |
