A Red Card is a one-use held item that forces the opponent to switch out if it directly attacks the holder. It will not function if there are no Pokémon on the opponent's side for the opponent to switch into. It can be obtained as a tier 2 special drop. It is a possible drop from uncommon boss Pokémon, or from certain wild Pokémon.
