Mystery Box is a block with the purpose of obtaining Meltan and Ditto. The box causes Meltan to spawn when active, which upon capture may transform into Ditto.

Usage
To use the Mystery Box, a player must insert a number of Netherite Scraps into it. By default, the number of scraps required starts at 4 and increases by 80% each time the Mystery Box is used.
Upon reaching the required amount, the Mystery Box will play the animation, and repeatedly attempts to spawn Meltans for 100 seconds before going on a cooldown for 50 minutes.
These values are all controllable in the spawning file in the Config directory.
Mechanics
When open, the Mystery Box will attempt to spawn Meltans with a 5% chance each tick. A spawn attempt will occur at a random block up to 15 blocks away from the box's location. The spawn location must be an air block on top of a non-air block in order for the Meltan to spawn. If the conditions are not met, the attempt simply fails, without trying again in a different location.
In the last 6 seconds of the Mystery Box being open, it will start a second animation before closing.
The Mystery Box can have its remaining time measured using a Comparator, starting at 15 power and dropping linearly until it closes at 0.
