Fire Stone ore is very rare type of ore found only around lava, whether in the Overworld or in the Nether. When mined, a Fire Stone ore yields one Fire Stone shard, nine of which will make a Fire Stone. A pickaxe is needed to successfully mine Fire Stone ore.
