Blank cards are created by combining a card token, or a base resource, with paper. Card tokens are obtained by merging an empty token with a base resource, or by merging tokens together of a lower rarity to upgrade it.

Different items are used for obtaining tokens with different typings. The items required to create these are below:

Energy	Item
Fire	Fire Stone Shard
Grass	Leaf Stone Shard
Water	Water Stone Shard
Lightning	Thunder Stone Shard
Fighting	Leather
Psychic	Dawn Stone Shard
Colorless	Shiny Stone Shard
Darkness	Dusk Stone Shard
Steel	Aluminium Ingot
Dragon	Sun Stone Shard
Fairy	Moon Stone Shard

Once you have a token, or a base item above, you can combine one with paper to create your blank card which can be printed using a Printer. Again, these recipes are shapeless. The rarity of the blank card you get depends on the rarity of the token you use. Using the base item to craft a blank card will always result in a common blank.

-Note that all the following recipes are shapeless, except from the empty token recipe. When you craft an empty token, you get 16 of them at once.
