An Absorb Bulb is a held item that raises the holder's Special Attack if the holder is hit by a Water-type attack, consuming the Absorb Bulb in the process. It does not make the holder immune to Water-type attacks. It can be obtained as a tier 1 special drop. It can also be obtained as a drop from certain Pokémon.
